About: |
Alice loves to work with her hands. She has been fascinated with three-dimensional arts and crafts since she was a child, with a deep love for saturated colors, unique forms, and getting messy. Throwing pots has allowed her to marry all of those things with a functional finished product.
Alice’s pots are created to be touched, used, and loved, as well as looked at. She believes that the objects we interact with can influence how we relate to our daily lives. In a world increasingly filled with disposable goods, making your morning coffee in a one-of-a-kind mug, or serving your own homegrown produce in an equally homegrown bowl, takes on a new importance. Alice works as a veterinarian most of the time. She lives in the East Mountains with her husband and lots of furry kids. She also loves knitting and dyeing yarn, gardening, cooking, and working on an endless parade of household projects. |
