Kimberly, the creative force behind Art Cathartic, is a true Renaissance artist, fearlessly embracing a vast array of artistic pursuits. A college-educated programmer, graphic designer, illustrator, and 3D modeling and animation enthusiast, she rekindled her love for hands-on artistry after experiencing a period of family trauma. During her digital art career, she yearned for the therapeutic and soul-soothing essence of physically crafting art.
In 2016, art became her sanctuary, a means to channel inner turbulence, and rediscover the essence of beauty. Since her return to tangible art, Kimberly has dabbled in pencil drawings, paintings, quilling, jewelry crafting, and pottery. Amidst these varied expressions, clay holds a special place, offering her a sense of solace and belonging. "When my hands connect with clay," she reflects, "it's as if they intuitively know their purpose, allowing me to relax, be fully present, and let creativity flow naturally."
